The Great Cinema Now film festival for July 12th and 13th will be held in the Orem, Utah Public Library Media Auditorium. You have a great advantage by submitting to our festival. It is unique because thousands of potential viewers frequent the Libary and the Library's media Center. Thousands more (each week) visit the library online. The Library advertises its events, in the library, online, and with posters on the FrontRunner and at FrontRunner stations (approximately a quarter of a million riders each month). The library will also list the winning films on their calendar and potentially in their catelog. We expect a great attendance, but regardless of how many people actually see your movie during the festival screening, you will receive widespread exposure to a ready and discerning audience.

We can't even begin to calculate the full scope and long-term benefits of being a winner of the GCN film festival held at the Orem library. Winning movies also have a great probabiliy of being added to the Orem Library's permanent collection, and online reference catelog. We are also inviting other libraries to participate and consider winners of our event for their shelves as well.

Submitting your movie for our festival is free. You may be asked to comment on other films that have been submitted, but our algorithms for decision making take into account self bias and personal taste differences so that your vote for another film, doesn't negatively affect the votes for your film, nor reduce your chance of winning.

The general submissions for this film festival opened on April 1st. If the current date is before July 1st, you still have time to submit. Just click on the "Click Here to Submit, FilmFreeway button" and go through the FilmFreeway submission process. FilmFreeway notifies us immediately of your submission and then your "hat" (movie) is in the ring (in the running).

At midnight June 30, the submissions will be closed and we will start making our final decisions.
